The Gloucester Police Department’s Kops-N-Kids program will send a several high school students to District Attorney John Blodgett’s summer day program, which is hosted at the Higgins Middle School in Peabody.
The program will feature drug awareness education, as well as field trips to the movies and Roller Palace.
Kops-N-Kids’ involvement was made possible by Chief McCarthy, Mayor Sefatia Romeo Theken, DA Blodgett, School Resource Officer Mike Scola and Beauport Ambulance, which is sponsoring transportation for students.
